Frequently Asked Questions

In the event you need an answer when we aren’t available, we’ve assembled this list of our most Frequently Asked Questions to assist you in the planning process.

Click on the New Accounts tab from the menu of our website. There you will find all the paperwork you need to open an account. Complete the New Account, Rental Agreement & Credit Authorization forms and email/fax them to us. We will notify you when we process your paperwork and open your account.
You can use the Request a Quote feature through our website, by adding items to your quote as you shop. Once you have added all the items you would like priced, submit for a quote. Alternatively, you may send an email to Sales@A1Props.com with a list of the items you are interested in, including your contact info and expected pickup/rental dates.  Usually, we can get back to you the same day with a list of prices.  At that point, if you want to place any items on hold or make an official order, you must set up your account (see above).
Our standard rental period is a 7-day week.
Our warehouse staff will do our best to answer your questions, but if you require on-set assistance, we are connected with many trained Medical Technical Advisors who would be happy to be hired to work with your production.
Pick-ups and drop-offs can be made Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
No, unfortunately, A1 Medical does not have the extra manpower to deliver.  Safe transportation of the rented equipment is the sole responsibility of the renter.  Which brings us to…
The size of vehicle required will differ depending on the items you are renting, but for all larger items (i.e., beds, gurneys, rolling gas panels, etc.) we require a truck with a powered lift gate.  Most of these large items do not fit on a standard truck ramp and are too heavy to be lifted into a truck or van.  For the safety of the customer and the equipment, A1 Medical reserves the right to turn away a renter if the vehicle is not appropriate for pickup.  If you have any questions regarding your vehicle, please ask us ahead of time.
Yes.  Please have your insurance company list A1 Medical Integration on your Certificate of Insurance as the “Loss Payee” or “Additional Insured.”  The COI can be emailed or faxed to A1 Medical to be put on file with your account.

For independent productions who do not have a COI and are renting less than $100 worth of equipment, A1 Medical can hold a credit card on file in case of loss or damage.

No.  Although most of A1 Medical’s customers work for movie and TV studios all over the country, we are happy to service independent, student and theater productions as well.
Of course!  For your convenience, most of our inventory is available to view on our website, but you are always welcome to come to the warehouse and take a look at everything in person.  We have several display showcases and our inventory is always growing, so stop by anytime Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.
